About the race venue at Kastrup Strandpark:
Kastrup Strandpark provides the perfect setting for running, community, and outdoor experiences by the water. With the Øresund as a backdrop and Amager Beach Park nearby, the area offers a unique combination of fresh sea air, open green spaces, and scenic trails winding through the landscape.
Here, recreational runners, elite athletes, and spectators come together in an environment where nature and city life merge. The flat, picturesque route provides ideal conditions for both strong performances and memorable running experiences – no matter the level.
Kastrup Strandpark is more than just a start and finish area. It is a gathering place where energy, community, and passion for movement create a special atmosphere from the very first step to the finish line.

For cross country, shoes with 20mm. in spikes and 40mm in road running shoes are allowed, but please check the approved list here:

Callroom & area
Each team will have its own pavilion located near the start and finish area, providing space for changing and storing personal belongings. Each tent accommodates up to six people.
Team scoring
The team competition in each race will be decided by the aggregate of placings recorded by the scoring competitors — the three best runners — from each team.
Placings are determined from the complete list of all Nordic Championship participants (both scoring and non-scoring team members and individual runners). Extra participants or club athletes will be disregarded when calculating team scores.
The team with the lowest total of placings will be declared the Nordic Champion. Subsequent positions will be decided in the same manner. In the event of a tie, the team whose third scoring member finishes highest shall be ranked ahead.
Protests and Appeals
Any protest must be made orally to the Referee by an athlete or an official team representative. To ensure a fair decision, the Referee may resolve the protest directly or refer the matter to the Jury of Appeal. If the Referee makes a decision, there is a right of appeal to the Jury.
Appeals must be submitted to the Competition Secretariat no later than 30 minutes after the official results have been published in Roster. The appeal must be made in writing, signed by the athlete or an official team representative, and accompanied by a deposit of USD 100 / EUR 90 / DKK 700.
Prize Ceremonies
Prize ceremonies (individual and team) will be held according to the timetable above. All athletes and team members are expected to wear their official national team uniforms approved by their respective federations during the ceremony.
